Curious Times was a beacon for me - I came out in the late 80s and I needed a refuge. So grateful to you and her and Gladys (and maybe people I don't know about) for being there.

Hello to TheLinster. I'm, oh, so curious. Gimme a hint. And many thanks for betting on me in those beginning days last Fall.

I hope you write more about the bookstore. They were magical places, and although I never made it to Curious Times, I'm sure the stories will resonate with so many of us who found refuge and sanity in the lesbian bookstore near us. Thanks for writing and lifting up our stories. They matter! Even, and maybe even especially, the ones that involve "stepping-out." With so many things stacked against the success of our relationships, the fact that we survived is magical in and of itself.

Thank you for your observations and your request for more about Curious Times. We had a blast and the gals loved it. What wonderful and fabulous energy we spread around the gayborhood in Dallas and then some!
